Community Network Fundraiser

United Response

What You'll Do

Join our vibrant team and make a real impact in your local community! You'll work alongside our Trust Fundraising Volunteer, connecting regularly with our central Fundraising and Communications Team.

We offer flexibility – you can work from home for many of these activities. Your role will include discovering exciting local fundraising opportunities, organizing community events that bring people together, building meaningful relationships with local supporters, and ensuring donors feel truly appreciated for their contributions.

You'll also help us spot opportunities to share our story with local media and keep our central team connected to what's happening in your area.

Why This Matters

Community Network creates welcoming spaces where people come together to share their passions, talents, ideas, and dreams. Your fundraising efforts directly support innovative projects that strengthen community connections and bring people closer together.

We support young people and adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, physical disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism, and dementia. We help people live independently, connect with their community, develop new skills, and find meaningful opportunities.

Where You'll Make Your Impact

Are You the Right Fit?

We're looking for someone who loves connecting with people and building relationships in their community. You're naturally friendly and approachable, and you enjoy bringing people together for a good cause.

If you have fundraising experience, that's fantastic – but enthusiasm and commitment matter most to us. We'll provide all the training and support you need to succeed.

We'd love for you to commit to one morning or afternoon per week for at least six months. This gives you time to build relationships and see the real impact of your work.

You'll have an informal conversation with our Service Manager to ensure this opportunity is the right match for you.

What You'll Gain

This is more than just volunteering – it's a chance to develop valuable skills while making a difference. You'll gain hands-on experience in community fundraising, learn from our experienced central team, and become part of a warm, supportive local team that celebrates your contributions.

You'll see firsthand how a national charity creates positive change for people with disabilities. Plus, we'll reimburse all your reasonable expenses, so volunteering won't cost you a thing.

The experience you gain will be valuable for your personal development and future opportunities.
